“ It was such a vibe, the decor is so fun and thoughtful that it makes you feel right at home. The food though, I can’t get over how good it was! The grits (I added Gouda to mine), was seriously perfect. Creamy and flavorful. I almost didn’t want to do a review because I don’t want this place to get so crowed that I can’t get in but it was fantastic. ”
“ I had been wanting to stop by here for a while and finally made it happen. I was not disappointed. Don't let the neighborhood deter you, this is a really nice place to have breakfast or brunch. The decor is really cool, mixed with great service and wonderful food. We had French Toast, Shrimp and Grits, Avocado toast with drinks and we really enjoyed our food. So did our grandchildren. “ This place was recommended by one of the staff members at Hyatt Centric (great hotel). We also saw it on places to get brunch in Memphis. The service was excellent, provided suggestions when needed and also let us enjoy our meals. We had breakfast/brunch. The food was delicious! Their pancakes are fluffy and have the crisp edges. I loved the grits as well! My husband really liked the breakfast burrito. Also the beignets and grits were phenomenal. You must try this place if you are looking for good food in Memphis! ”
“ Oh my! We ate at Memphis Toast after hearing about it on an Instagram page and I’ll def be checking out more of his suggestions because this experience was a 10/10. The outside of the restaurant has some cute paintings and you’d expect it to be totally different on the inside than what you get, which is elegant decor, with a bluesy feel. The food is reasonably priced for the portions, but the flavor.. ooohhhh, the flavor is PRICELESS. I can’t wait to go back and try something different!! It was comfortable with a five year old and family friendly, but would also be great for a girls day! ”
